HOW TO PREPARE FOR A KUNDALINI YOGA CLASS

1. Decide on the best place for you to practice before the class begins. Ideally, this is an area of your home that is clean, uncluttered, and has the least distractions.

2. Make the space you practice in feel special to you. Some ideas include lighting a candle and placing uplifting and meaningful pictures, mementos, or objects in this space.  

3. Remind those in your home that you will be practicing during a certain time period and that you would appreciate them not disturbing you during that time. Ask them to join you!

4. Wear clothing that is safe and comfortable to move around in. Pants that are too long can possibly cause you to trip or lose your balance when practicing standing exercises or poses.  

5. Props that will enhance your experience... a yoga mat, meditation pillow, flat meditation mat to place your meditation pillow on when meditating, and a light blanket. 

6. Have fresh water available for you to sip during the practice.
